Eccentric but fun, we loved staying here. Secure parking was available at no charge (not that secure either !) We ate in the evening here as well as having the very generous breakfast. It's not a flashy place but then again nor is the price. Book it with confidence.

Comfortable and friendly stopover near the border of Portugal and Spain. Location was close to Bragança centre, with private car park just 50 metres away - locked at night. There is limited street parking, with a coin parking meter. The lady that checked us in & took me to the car park couldn't speak any English (nor us Portuguese!) but was very friendly & welcoming. We had dinner in the restaurant which was excellent, with home-cooked fish dishes. Menu had an English translation which was very helpful. Although we paid for the room using a credit card, they were reluctant to the point of being rude about wanting cash for the meal. Our bill was 50 euros & we just didn't have that cash to hand. Awkward! Breakfast was basic but met the mark - bread rolls were fresh & delicious, but spoilt by serving orange squash not orange juice.

Lovely place to stay in. We arrived a bit late in Bragança, but Senhor Manuel went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Yes, the rooms are a bit old-fashioned, but I still think it is good value for money. The bathroom is rather spacious. Sr. Manuel is very friendly and hospitable and we enjoyed a very rich breakfast. If I will ever be in Bragança again I should definitely like to stay here again.
